PowerSorb™ 1130 is a liquid UV absorber of the hydroxyphenyl-benzotriazole class specifically developed for coatings. It dissolves in most common solvents and is soluble in waterborne systems.

Applications

PowerSorb™ 1130 is especially suitable for industrial and automotive coatings with its high temperature and extraction resistance.

PowerSorb™ 1130 also provides efficient protection to light sensitive substrates, such as wood and plastics due to its broad UV absorption,.

PowerSorb™ 1130 is used with HALS in plastics and coatings to protect water and solvent based coatings. The amount required for optimal performance should be determined in trials covering a concentration range.
